why do turks write ":DDD" ironically like finns (spurdo)? i've seen turkish keins also doing that.
and how did the meme of putting an asterisk in the place of a vowel originate (t*rk, k*rt)?

The same way how the spurdo itself became a meme. It was pretty common on 4chan back in the days. It's not just Turks. I am not sure where the asterisk meme originates from but it is really old. It probably predates many of the imageboards.

thats the way we laugh. as for the censored name originally it was a turk who came up with it. he intended to seperate a certain group of turks from the rest to humiliate them, the notion is that he thought they don't deserve to be called turks. and it backfired big time because of how ridiculous the censored name looked and it fit the subhuman retard t*Rks as a whole.

ironically? it's just a way to express laughter

Emojis and the keyboard spam (which also originated from Turkish net) were banned in the old local imageboard so we adopted the D spam instead. As for asterisks, we had an anti-kurd board called /xoru/, I think it originally started there.

 No.378

turkish imageboard oldfags are stuck in the early 2010's imageboard culture, the :DDD thing comes from spurdo, even "spurdo talk" is still being used (e.g. saying ebin instead of epic)
