The Azumanga universe can be classified as "Hot Chick Heaven" because there's such a mess of very beautiful and tough women that it will make you love the series even more! And since Valentine's Day is around the corner, I've been inspired to make a top 10 list of the most beautiful female Azumanga Daioh characters. Grab yourself a snack and a glass of orange juice, and try not to reach through the screen because HERE WE GO!



Number 10: Try this question on for size. Who has gay thoughts and chases Sakaki all the time? Why it's Kaorin of course! Though more of a cutie than a hottie, you can't deny the fact that she's still attractive. Two things that make her attractive are the fact that she's in the Astronomy club. And did I mention she's also gay for Sakaki? So once again, Sakaki is lovely; that is until she gets jealous of others when Sakaki is involved.



Who's at number 9? It's Chihiro from the Azumanga Daioh™ Series. A usual companion to Kaorin. She doesn't do much except be the brunt of Kaorins temper. The real reason she lands at the #9 is because I'm biased, and I think that she's underrated and needed more screen time in the series. Season 2 when?



Numero Ocho. It's Kurosawa sensei the gym teacher. She's attractive and the size of an average human mother. What really surprises me about her is that she used to be friends in high school with Yukari sensei. Ain't that wacky? A popular and devoted teacher throughout the series, Kurosawa sensei is nicer, and less chaotic than the wild Yukari.



What number's next? Seven, of course. It's Yukari sensei. Students always root for the calm and nice teachers, but sometimes, the wild and chaotic ones steal the show. She's the girls' English and homeroom teacher, a woman with unconventional teaching methods, and did I mention she's also a GAMER? Finally some proper gamer representation in media.

Numero Six. Koyomi Mizuhara. The most mature and serious of the group. Smart and athletic, she's got it all. Though she looks healthy and fit, Yomi is insecure about her weight and diet, and struggles with her fondness for food, particularly sweets and spicy dishes. You need to look your best and Yomi delivers perfectly. That's why she's #6.



Number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5! Ah-Ah-Ahhh! Kagura. How could you go wrong with a girl that looks like this? A devoted member of the swim team and an all-around good athlete. I mean just look at her tanlines! Now we're talkin'!


This female standing at number 4: Tomo Takino. One word: Tomboy. A very hyper energetic and competitive tomboy at that, despite being a slacker. How would you like to have that as a GF? But what really lands Tomo in the #4 spot is that her attitudes apparently more different from the other females.



Next up is #3. What's better than having a female who's tall and busty? How about a female who's tall, busty, and mysterious? It's Sakaki. Despite being reserved, she has a very strong desire for friendship, leading her to be more open to the group (The original Komi-san). She's also the girl of Kaorin's dreams. Heh, lucky her.



Number 1, 2, button my shoe! Chiyo-chan! There's a lot to say about this character. She is 10 years old when she first enters high school so she's the youngest and smartest of the cast but despite that she gets along well with others. However, Chiyo-chan is the subject to the casts many abuse throughout the series, and it's usually for gags, The poor thing, and when have you ever seen 2 big, very smooth pigtails that can detach and move by itself? I haven't!



So, you've seen an athlete, a tomboy, two gorgeous teachers, and even a ten year old genius ! Who could possibly top those kinds of females? Well, get ready folks; this is the #1 hottest Azumanga Daioh female character. Osaka! First name: Ayumu, last name: Kasuga. Being from Osaka, gained her the nickname. If anybody denies it, how dare you? This woman can fly using Chiyo chan's pigtails, thinks different from the rest of the crew, and is a femme fatale, seducing us, the fans with her lovable attitude and wacky antics. These traits make Osaka triumph over all of the Azumanga Daioh females. My hat goes off to you Kiyohiko Azuma. You oughta be proud.
